{"id":66,"date":"2004-03-03T14:42:00","date_gmt":"2004-03-03T14:42:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/cleek.lunarpages.com\/blogs\/?p=66"},"modified":"2004-03-03T14:42:00","modified_gmt":"2004-03-03T14:42:00","slug":"107834292090067946","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ok-cleek.com\/blogs\/?p=66","title":{"rendered":"107834292090067946"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>The Devil Made Me Do It<\/b><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.msnbc.msn.com\/id\/4375708\/\">MSNBC<\/a> reports:<\/p>\n<ul>\nJohn Debney, who composed the music for \u00e2\u20ac\u0153The Passion of the Christ,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d says he did battle with Satan while scoring the flick.<\/p>\n<p>Debney had written music for a number of movies such as \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Liar, Liar,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Spy Kids,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d and \u00e2\u20ac\u0153I Know What You Did Last Summer\u00e2\u20ac\u009d \u00e2\u20ac\u201d but he says he was visited by the devil while writing the score for the film about the last hours of Jesus Christ.<\/p>\n<p>\u00e2\u20ac\u0153I had never before subscribed to the idea that maybe Satan is a real person, but I can attest that he was in my room a lot and I know that he hit everyone on this production,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d Debney said, according to a lengthy interview that ran on Assist News Service, a Christian news agency. <\/p>\n<p>Debney claims that Satan's image kept appearing on his computer screen while he was trying to compose music. \u00e2\u20ac\u0153The first time it happened, it scared me,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d he said. \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Once I got over the initial shock of that, I learned to work around it and learned to reboot the computers and so I would start talking to him. . . . The computers froze for about the tenth time [one] day and it was about nine o'clock at night and so I got really mad and I told Satan to manifest himself and I said, `Let's go out into the parking lot and let's go.' It was a seed change in me. I knew that this was war.
