Nobody would have argued with you.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cVote for me!\u201d Kimberley Paige Barnette, a former county magistrate judge running for office for the first time, wrote on her Facebook profile.<\/p>\n<p>Then, following two lines that included her name and \u201cMayor of Charlotte 2017\u201d was a description of herself, in four capitalized words: \u201c<b>REPUBLICAN & SMART, WHITE, TRADITIONAL<\/b>\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Tell me more!<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cAs mayor, <b>what I would like to discourage is assembly<\/b>,\u201d she said. \u201cProtests are confrontational, they\u2019re chaotic, they scare people. I believe there\u2019s a better way to express yourselves.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Well that doesn't sound good.
