{"id":19328,"date":"2013-10-30T20:31:43","date_gmt":"2013-10-30T20:31:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ok-cleek.com\/blogs\/?p=19328"},"modified":"2013-10-31T12:53:41","modified_gmt":"2013-10-31T12:53:41","slug":"armchair-it-consultants","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ok-cleek.com\/blogs\/?p=19328","title":{"rendered":"Armchair IT Consultants"},"content":{"rendered":"<blockquote><p><a href='http:\/\/firstread.nbcnews.com\/_news\/2013\/10\/30\/21249035-nbcwsj-poll-public-divided-over-whether-website-woes-are-short-term-or-long-term-problem?lite'>Americans are divided<\/a> about whether the problems associated with the health-care law\u2019s federal website are a short-term issue than can be solved, or a long-term issue that signals deeper troubles, according to a new NBC News\/Wall Street Journal poll.<\/p>\n<p>Thirty-seven percent of respondents say that the website woes are a short-term technical problem that can be fixed, while 31 percent believe they point to a longer-term issue with the law\u2019s design that can\u2019t be corrected.<\/p>\n<p>Another 30 percent think it\u2019s too soon to say.\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>What an idiotic survey.<\/p>\n<p>The 31% who say \"the law\u2019s design that can\u2019t be corrected\" aren't saying anything about the fucking <em>website<\/em>; they're complaining about the Obamacare demon that haunts their imaginations. <\/p>\n<p>And neither they, nor the 37% who say it will be fixed, know a thing about what the site's actual technical problems are, let alone what fixing them will require. No, this is nothing more than a \"Do you like Obamacare?\" survey.<\/p>\n<p>And $100 says no more than 0.01% of the people surveyed know even what an HTML form is, let alone how to write one.<\/p>\n<p>On the other hand, it's pretty surreal to watch a program roll-out being called play-by-play by our ignorant and scandal-hungry media. They have utterly no idea what they're talking about, but they don't care. Gotta fill up those news-hours.
