Or, rather, while I was struggling to get ready for work after a late night out, I heard my favorite Lilys song, \"Ginger\", coming from the TV and wondered if I was only dreaming of owning a new Cadillac.<\/p>\n<p>Even stranger than the sheer strangeness of associating an obscure song from an obscure EP from an obscure 90's alt-rock band with a Cadillac and putting that commercial on the Weather Channel, is the section of the song they chose to use. From a song that's more than five minutes long, they chose to use the first verse where the singer this rather opaque line: \"When you leave it will be cold outside \/ swing from tree to tree you're bound to die\" - and those last four words stand out in a break from the voice-over, and are the most prominent in the line anyway. So, the impression you get from the music is \"Hey, great riff. Nice buildup. What is this song? Oooh, I hear lyrics. '[mumble mumble mumble Cadillac] <b>you're bound to die<\/b> [Cadillac]'\".
