#9: The Beatles – Blue Jay Way
#12: Crosby, Stills, and Nash – Judy Blue Eyes
#13: Violent Femmes – Add it Up
#15: Raspberries – Go All The Way
#19: Prince – Kiss
#20: Billy Joel – Movin’ Out
I’m definitely sweatin’ to the oldies here
a fine start.
Damn it!
#13: Violent Femmes – Kiss Off
I had too many VF tracks mixed up in my mind. Thanks go to you, though, for getting me to go back and revisit that album. (I refuse to simply Google lyrics — that’s not very sportsmanlike.)
it took me like ten minutes to find that clip because i swore it was in Add It Up. turns out i didn’t even have Kiss Off in my library, but had two different copies of Add It Up (one without the long quiet intro, and titled “Why Can’t I Get Just One Kiss” – must’ve come from Napster, back in the day).
I can’t decide whether I love or hate mislabeled Napster tracks. I think it’s both.
#3: Pink Floyd – Candy and a Currant Bun
High five for showing a little Syd Barrett love
Cris, you’re burning it up!
#6 is Robert Nestor Marley, “Jamming”
#7 is Radiohead, “Creep”
Later —-
#17 is Green Day, don’t know the song title though.
14 – Nirvana – All Apologies
17 – Green Day – Longview
Song #2 is Ooh La La sung by Ronnie Lane of the Faces
sung by Ronnie Lane
according to Wiki, this one was sung by Ron Wood, not Ronnie Lane. i had to go look it up, cause i didn’t recognize the voice.
#5: Biko, Peter Gabriel
#11 where it’s at – Beck
#10 she don’t use jelly – flaming lips
I think Chris wins irrespective of my efforts. Nice job.
there are enough left that any of you with two correct so-far could tie Cris.
#18 “Can’t stand it” – Wilco
