NEW YORK —
U.S. Presidential candidates and “beloved anti-heroes” Donald J. Trump and Hillary Clinton will be brought back for a second season of HBO’s smash hit horror series the 2016 Presidential Campaign, network executives announced earlier this week.

The agreement came after the premium cable network won a bidding war to produce more out-of-bounds insults, secret videos, and leaked emails for an already on-edge nation.

“We were a bit cold on the idea at first,” said HBO CEO Richard Plepler. “But once the Donald-pussy tape came out it was obvious we had something special here. We couldn’t pass it up.”
