yep. and that’s exactly what i was thinking of when i took that. we were driving through Yellowstone, i looked out the window and thought “holy crap, it’s that Windows background scene!”

LOL, hurricanes aren’t really an issue here, but there are no tech jobs where we want to live (Cornwall) else I’d sell up and move tomorrow. I might be able to convince my company to let me move and keep my job (other people live far from the office including my boss who actually lives in Poland) but if I lost my job I’d be screwed.
you could always set up an ice cream shop somewhere in a tourist part of town.
or a good pizza place. that’s what i always find lacking in seaside tourist towns: a really good pizza place that’s open at least as late as the last bar to close.
I don’t have big plans for the rest of my life, but one thing both Mrs C and I want to do when I eventually retire is to live by the sea.
Mind you, I’m only 45 so will be working for at least another 20 years. Which is fucking depressing.
