How old is Luke supposed to be in the first Star Wars ?
I just watched it for the 50-whateverth time, with a bit of a different perspective this time..., and I can't figure out if Mark Hamil was an adult cast in a young teenager role, or if he was the victim of a writer who couldn't decide if the character was supposed to be twelve or twenty.
Alternate theory (after watching all 3 on Spike):
He isn’t/wasn’t that great an actor. Not Keanu Reeves bad of course and still 5,000% better than anyone in the latter three movies. Just not a great actor.
i suppose that’s the most logical explanation.
