I find it interesting how weird thing have become today.
In this song, the lyrics “you’d better run. you’d better hide” wouldn’t fly in today’s hyper-sensitive political correctness world. Much less the Beatles’ “I’d rather see you dead little girl than to be with another man”.
never fear. plenty of new music has questionable lyrics.
this one is apparently about the singer’s 17 year old girlfriend (Kylie Jenner):
“I hit her, she backwards, lickin’ her a–hole
My d— is the password
T nasty, ’bout to catch a felony for it
Vagina juice like orange juice in the mornin’.”
Woody Peckerwood
Yeah, well, that’s rap.
And, as a culture, we don’t seem to want to hold rap music and rappers to the same standards. I think everyone just gives them a pass for some unknown reason.
Can you imagine a white person recording stuff like that?
do you really want me to start quoting white rappers for you? or metal bands?

Still, I believe that rap is associated with black youth regardless… even in the few cases where the rapper may be White, Asian, etc. and for that reason, it’s not called out for its sexism and, in particular, its overt and blatant racism.
Great Stuff! Really enjoyed it.

Free pass
it’s not called out
oh, but it is. by actual black people, no less.
Yes….just like they did with Michael Richards
