Start Your iPods

Will the iPod surprise me, or will it play the same old crap...?

  1. The Beatles - I'm a Loser
  2. The Boys of the Lough - Sally Monroe. Irish folk music! And me without a Guinness.
  3. Alison Krauss & U.S. - Another Day Another Dollar
  4. Harald Johnson, et al - Colours of Mercy. Scandanavian jazz, baby.
  5. Broken Social Scene - It's All Gonna Break
  6. Green Day - Basket Case. "Sometimes I give myself the creeps." Love that line. "Creeps" is such a great word.
  7. My Bloody Valientine - Loomer
  8. Robert Johnson - Phonograph Blues
  9. Radiohead - The Tourist
  10. Elliot Smith - Alameda
  11. Bonus : Neutral Milk Hotel - Holland, 1945. Love this song.
And here's where your mother sleeps
And here is the room where your brothers were born
      Indentions in the sheets
Where their bodies once moved but don't move anymore
And it's so sad to see the world agree
That they'd rather see their faces fill with flies
All when I'd want to keep white roses in their eyes

Mostly surprising. El yay!

no theft here – i didn’t invent the iPod random ten ! :)

coincidentally, while i was reading your list, earlier today, Television’s Guiding Light was playing on my iPod. and, it showed up on Norbizness’ Random Friday list, too.

you gotta enable comments over there! these amazing coincidences must not go unremarked!
