Jaan Pehechaan Ho
I've loved this since I first heard it in the movie "Ghost World".
I think the song is about two minutes longer than it really needs to be, but I like it anyway.
This clip is from the original (1966, Bollywood) movie, and it's a wild scene, daddy-O. But there's so much head shaking in it that my neck starts to ache in sympathy. Just try shaking your head like that for ten seconds. Then think about doing it for 5:33. Then assume the scene took a few shots to get it all right. And rehearsals. Ack! The poor female lead probably scrambled her brain doing this scene. Ouch.
Oh to be young and limber again. 38 sucks.

Me At Parties
And His Walkman Started to Melt
A kid gave up his iPod for an old-school Sony Walkman, for a week. Some of his observations:
It took me three days to figure out that there was another side to the tape. That was not the only naive mistake that I made; I mistook the metal/normal switch on the Walkman for a genre-specific equaliser, but later I discovered that it was in fact used to switch between two different types of cassette.
Brilliant observation: 20 years from now, iPods will seem as silly and cumbersome as Walkmen (Walkmans ?) do today.
